Error code 1000 when adding pictures

Hi,

Every time I try to add pictures to my database it says error acquiring file: Unknown error (code 1000). I've upgraded to the paid version, but this has not made a difference.

- the pictures are a mix of JPEG and PNG files ranging from <100-300KB.
- I use FDB on a Kindle Fire 7
- It makes no difference if I store the pictures in downloads, camera, or DCIM

The only solution I've discovered is to wait for my tablet to sync the photos to Amazon Prime Photos and selecting them through there. Is there a solution to this issue?

Please use "email support" option from within the application to use direct communication in troubleshooting the issue. The generated email will include specific information about your device model and version of OS, which are prerequisites for troubleshooting

I sometimes get the error 1000 too, but not always. What does it mean, generally?

Supposedly the error is related to Google location services settings (Settings->Location->Mode). At least one user reported that turning camera on in Google settings resolved the issue. Another thing to try is changing "Allow application access location information" in FDB settings.

The problem seem to be present only on android devices with system version 7 and up. The latest compatibility update to the application that was just released to online stores appears to resolve this problem.
